Excellence in Education
The future of Pennsylvania depends on the education of our children.
We need to continue to invest in our education infrastructure. This means keeping our teachers and schools up to date in curriculum and technology and ensuring that our students learn the fundamentals while encouraging creativity and exploration. We've got to see to it that more money is spent directly in the classroom for teaching our students, rather than on testing and administration.
Education must be adequately funded at all costs.
We've got to continue to fund progarms that allow students of all ages to get an education. This education not only includes a high school diploma, but also the opportunity to earn a college degree as well.
Our nation's success will come through the great minds of this nation, but only if we make every effort to give our educational system the opportunity to succeed.
